Nice typical cassis scent accompanied by pears, candied orange peel, caramel; at the palate a sturdy dry start, in which the cassis notes by and by reappear; firmly built dry finish in which the cassis notes wave for a long time. Easily two to three years further development potential and nicely with smoked mackerel, smoked ham or smoked pork chop in bread dough.
