Prosecco
The focus is on Prosecco as a premium spumante = quality sparkling wine = sparkling wine, in contrast to Prosecco Frizzante = semi-sparkling wine. In spumante, no carbon dioxide may be added; it must come from a second fermentation – not necessarily bottle fermentation – and the pressure must be at least 3 bar at 20° C. In addition, the sparkling wine bottle must have the traditional sparkling wine appearance with the long shiny capsule/sleeve and wire cage. Typical for Bottega are the special gold or rosé-shiny bottles, which come from their own glassworks.
Two own top vineyards: Valgatara and the one in the Montalcino region

Bottega’s estate in the top region of Montalcino
In addition to other vineyards and wineries, the company is particularly proud of the estate in Valgatara in the Valpolicella region, where great red wines such as Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG are bottled, and of its own estate in the famous Montalcino region, where renowned and sought-after wines such as Brunello di Montalcino DOCG mature.
Natural viticulture and sustainability are top priorities
All production steps are carried out in a sustainable manner to protect the environment and future generations. The company focuses particularly on saving water, reducing CO2 emissions and chemical use, as well as recycling waste materials. A total of ten oenologists monitor the quality.

Own wine bars
The company is also proud of its own wine bars, several of which Bottega operates far beyond Italy – such as in Dubai, Birmingham, Oman, Guernsey, and Stockholm.
