Subtly sweet at 9.6 g/l and just a little more than dry, with 12.5% alcohol: Fine, elegant nose with notes of figs and pear compote accompanied by subtle herbal notes; hearty, juicy body with very harmoniously rounded sweetness, lightly underlaid with white pepper; elegantly persistent finish that underlines the power. A wine like a blockhouse, to which I give a future of six to eight years and which goes well with smoked fish, grilled steaks or roast goose.
