13%, dry, Wine Estate Pfaffl: Intense fragrance, jumps out at you, with notes of ripe apples, apple blossoms, apricots, mirabelles; on the tongue, power that fills the width of the mouth, with a small peppery note, all culminating in the finish, flanked by mineral notes. A strong and harmonious tropic, goes well with fried fish, Wiener Schnitzel or breaded pork chop. ("DAC" stands for "Districtus Austriae Controllatus" and is the legal abbreviation for particularly and well defined region-typical Austrian quality wines. There are 18 DAC designations of origin.)

13.5%, dry, quality wine Lower Austria, Wine Estate Pfaffl: Lively aroma of beautiful ripeness with notes of fresh apples, kiwi, nectarines; on the tongue a lot of fruit and glaze accompanied by hints of lemon juice and fruit sweets; lively finish in which apples and fruit candies greet you again. A beautiful symbiosis of liveliness and maturity, combines well to Wiener Schnitzel, pork loin, rice dishes or mushrooms in cream.
92 bonvinitas points: 2023 HUND Grüner Veltliner Reserve, Weinviertel DAC
14%, dry, Wine Estate Pfaffl: Fine ripe scent of summer apples, kiwi, candied lemon peel with a hint of cashew nut, accompanied gently smoky; on the palate very supple, delicate, differentiated with notes of candied lemon peel and glaze, which merges to a cheerful temperament; firm finish with subtle peppery notes, slightly green-floral flanked. A very smooth drop of wine, which combines nicely fried with fish, grilled steaks, grilled chicken or cold cuts platter.

13%, dry, Wine Estate Pfaffl: Very appealing scent of autumn apples, honeydew melon, pineapple, caramel with a hint of blossom honey; on the palate again a lot of fruit with memories of autumn apples, which spreads mouth-filling, accompanied slightly peppery; good very harmonious length that you like to keep. In short, lots of fruity harmony and nice with roast veal, grilled steaks or poultry.
97 bonvinitas points: 2023 PASSION Riesling Reserve
Quality wine Lower Austria, 14%, Wine Estate Pfaffl: Strong, ripe scent of candied lemon peel, ripe peaches, sand cake with a hint of petrol (which is not uncommon for high-class ripe Rieslings); plenty of volume on the palate, elegant, full-bodied maturity with glaze and a dab of cinnamon; very elegant, well-developed finish with ripe peaches again, which culminates in wonderful ripeness, and which you want to hold onto. Great, wonderfully elegant and matured wine, which is rarely found in this harmony, and combines delicately with seafood, calamari, veal steak or pork loin.

in Stetten in the Weinviertel in Lower Austria, not far north of Vienna, I have already reported.
